This is an ignorant comment based upon lack of knowledge. China is a modern country and has cornered the market for, among other things, royal jelly. The Chinese have pioneered many advances in beekeeping knowledge, including multi-queen hives and nutritional hybrids between Apis cerana and mellifera in an attempt to combat varroa mites. Unfortunately, very little is published in English or it would appear on Bee-L.
