Session Proposal – When Drawings Lie (or what you see isn't always what you get)

I'm interested in proposing a panel session that would unpack the potentials and downfalls of concept drawings/diagrams/renderings in the exhibit development process.

The session could have two parts:
A) Look at specific examples from projects where what you saw (rendering) is not what you got (fabrication) or vice versa.
B) Offer a set of mini-workshops that would give attendees strategies for providing feedback to designers, create a concept drawing even if you don't think you can draw etc.

We could broaden the discussion from exhibits to overall buildings as well.

If you would be interested in talking about this please email me. I'm looking for presenters from both sides of the spectrum (designers & non-designers)

Kris
