There are a few blossoms out on the almond trees in the West San Joaquin
Valley and we had 70 degree F temperatures for the last couple of days.
It is forecast to cool off next week. Just from observing the number of
wintering apiaries that are still left on the coast I would estimate
that about half of the bees have already been placed in the almond
orchards. Half of our bees are in and we will finish up tonight and
tomorrow night.
