Jeremy, I was surprised today to find exactly the "symptoms" that you are
seeing.  The hive came back from almonds and was on manzanita, but
nutritionally stressed due to rain.  The melted larvae are exactly as you
described--watery, no roping, unpleasant smell kinda like EFB but not like
AFB.

Clearly not sacbrood, not like EFB or AFB, nor any other brood disease that
I've seen.
