Greetings Esteemed Colleagues,
If anyone is interested in a public housing tour during the conference, feel free to get in touch with me off list. Austin, Texas has a noteworthy New Deal legacy and has the oldest U.S. Housing Authority public housing in the United States. I entered the Santa Rita Courts Historic District into the NRHP in 2008 and would be glad to lead a tour not only of Austin's public housing but of other sites as well, including cemeteries, many of which are not generally known, even by locals.
