I have tried "mite resistant" queens from Russell, Glenn, VP queens, and Harbo. Still need to treat to keep the bees alive. The longest I've had a no-treat hive live without treatment was 3 years. Then it went queenless and collapsed. Very high mite load at that point. I am a small pollinator and nuc producer.
