Our beekeeping club recently had a researcher tell us that the glucose oxidase content of "sugar syrup honey" is much lower than nectar derived honey. Also, that bees under stress increased the content
of glucose oxidase in their stored honey. Got me to thinking about minimizing the feeding of sugar as much as possible for overwintering my hives.
