What not to wear.. One thing I always tell beginners is if they work with
bare hands to take off their rings. Most people will swell from stings when
they first start working bees and I have heard allot of stories about going
to the ER to have rings cut off.
My attire depends on the temperature of the day and temperament of the bees,
any thing from shorts and a tee-shirt to a bee suit, but always a helmet
because I have long hair and the bees get in it and can not get out. Both
the bees and I lose because we both get damaged in the entanglement so a
helmet is an easy solution.
