Once it's too cold for feeding, is it best to remove division board feeders
and replace with empty drawn comb - or just foundation if no drawn comb is
available?

 

I wonder if the best idea of all (if one lacks capped honey) would be to
remove empty frames in positions 1 and ten and replace with Styrofoam
insulating board or equivalent cut to size.
