Animals demonstrate varied abilities to plan and execute activities that
are related to their survival (Natural selection sees to that.) and are
examples of "thinking". Raccoons are at the high end of this ability and
it should not be surprising—given what we know about animal cognition—that
they are able to confront and deal with many different kinds of situations
by planning and solving problems. In the summative evaluation of Wild
Minds—What Animals Really Think visitors are not only surprised that
animals (excluding their pets, of course) can "think" but that we are like
them! We are animals too! was not an uncommon expression.
All that being said I need to view the program!
