There are a couple good places for you to start:
1. Contact Betty Davidson, Museum of Science, Boston (not sure she is still there), who did much design and evaluation work concerning accessibility for persons with disabilities.
2. Look at ASTC's website resources on the topic:
http://astc.org/resource/access/index.htm
Also, check informalscience.org for any evaluations of projects related to accessibility.
Good luck.

Good Afternoon
My name is Sarah Yellin and I am graduate student at Harvard University working
on my thesis. My thesis is on how people with blind and low vision learn in a
science museum. Does anyone have any information on how visitors with blind and
low vision learn? I am especially looking for information on auditory and visual
learners, as well as tactile learners in a science museum setting. I am using
Howard Gardner's theory on multiple intelligence a baseline.
Thanks,
Sarah Yellin
