'Just want to pass on some timely information...
The Visitor Studies Association's annual conference draws people from all areas of museums, science centers, and zoos who are interested in understanding many facets of the visitor experience in informal learning settings. VSA offers ways to reduce the cost for some first-time conference attendees. These are:
The April Award, a travelship for new professionals consisting of a complimentary conference registration fee and a $400 travel stipend.
Student Scholarships, for student attendees; consists of a complimentary conference registration fee.
Check out www.visitorstudies.org for more info and application forms. And please pass this on to anyone you think would be interested in attending this years conference, July 26-29 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The April Award and Student Scholarships applications must be postmarked no later than April 1!
