Hi Sharon,
You are attending ASTC this year I know. It looks like there is a lot of
interesting material on the agenda. I'm trying to decide if it makes sense
for me to attend. I'd rather go to ASTC than AAM. I'd love to get your
perspective to help me make my decision. I'm worried about taking time away
when we need to be getting ready for DD.
I did not submit a water session for AAM. I have contacted Gene from NAME
and will be contacting the folks from Informal Science to see about writing
an article for those publications. I should definitely consulted with you
but my vacation was wonderful but not conducive to getting any work done.
My thinking is that a lot more people would benefit from a written article
or an accessible pdf on the NAME website than would necessarily benefit from
a conference session at AAM. (ASTC is an entirely different story.) I
apologize for not talking this over with you before. I will certainly plan
on putting a session together for ASTC next fall.
