Good Afternoon,
My name is Gloria Bingenheimer. I am a media relations assistant at
SciTech Hands On Museum located in Aurora, IL.
SciTech would like to let everyone know about an exhibit that is in
search of a new home. The exhibit is called Bible Times Tech. What is
Bible Times Tech? It is an exhibit that compares modern life to life
lived about 3000 years ago (approximately 1900-600 BCE). This exhibit
features all aspects of life, such as Home and Family, Food and
Drink, Market and Society and Fun and Games. This exhibit is
educational and interesting. Discovering that things have not really
changed a lot is eye opening and astonishing. Did you know that the
sippy cup has been around for thousands of years? How about this
fact, it was common for animals to sleep in the same room with the
family. These are just two examples of the exhibit. Many of the
exhibits are "hand on" and some are to be admired under protective
glass. If this exhibit sounds like something you would like for your
museum please contact us.
Thank you.
