i want to second Mike Polk's statement. SHA 2014 was an excellent
conference with good papers, an excellent Award Ceremony, and a fine
hotel venue - the same hotel used for SHA 2000. Quebec was outstanding
as usual - of course COLD in January - and the tour of the Isle of
Orleans was wonderful - even the terror ride over the hill and down to
the river.
Congratulations to Bill and his new Laval PhD - very impressive ceremony.
We can now all look forward to Seattle 2015.
