People against Spike TV's "American Digger"
What efforts have other people started in response to this show? Are there petitions, etc. Call-in days to protest, etc.?

Would this be an appropriate place to post information if we did organize a call-in protest?

Thanks,

Tonia Deetz Rock

True about "most artifacts" but there is always the glow of hope; have you
ver seen what a bottle can sell for among the bottle collectors groups?

one. Comments duly recorded and kudos to the very good entries I read.
rankly, I never heard of Spike TV but after the umpteenth bottle, it will
et boring anyway, unless they plant valuable artifacts. I think people will
e surprised at how little monetary value most artifacts possess.

Does anyone know if the SAA and relevant Native American groups are aware
f this? I would hope that some sort of broad range resistence would put a
top to this.

Unfortunately, I just learned the show has been picked up by SPIKE TV.
This should not be surprising, since the star is a retired pro wrestler -
 just their type of audience.
So please go to their web page and add your negative feedback to the
comments. Maybe there is a faint hope that Spike will get the message and
 drop the show.
