Hi all!

Some of you may have noticed that Rick hasn't posted anything on HISTARCH
for some time. Rick's been having some health issues. He has difficulty
walking and his eyesight is making it hard for him to read a computer
screen.  He's a little bummed by these things and we think he would enjoy
hearing from friends.  His wife, Linda, gathers his email for him so, if
