Here's a synopsis of the Infra-Red work that our colleagues at MSU, Bozeman
conducted. Its a work in progress. They were good enough to add our
names - but its mainly their work - we provided colonies for them to image. I
hope to get it in to a storage shed, see what it can tell us about bees in
the sheds - might be able to help the beekeeper avoid a nasty surprise.
At this point in time, a beekeepers with bees in a shed doesn't know how the
colonies are doing until they are brought out and opened for inspection.
Would be nice if we can dial this in for grading of colonies - but we're
not quite there, yet.
