Subject: Re: [BEE-L] Who reads BEE-L anyways?

Hello to all:
I am a bee specialist in Saudi Arabia. Yes, we have bees here in the
desert!! Saudi Arabia has excelent areas for beekeeping in the south
mountainous region (up to 3000 m above sea level). Beekeeping also is
practiced in all other regions. Beekeepers have to move there bees following
bee plants. There are 2 main honey flows in the country: Acacia trees in
desret and oases bloom during June and Christ-thorn trees bloom at late
August.
I registered in this great list during my graduate study at Ohio State
University, Columbus, Oh (from 97-2001). As academic person in this part of
the world I need to be in contact with beekeeping industry in USA and
Europe. Scientific journals provid knowledge and BEE-L provide practical
issues and keep me updated of bee industry.

Thanks to all

Dr. Abdulaziz Alqarni
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
