"Question, if someone is in the Nuc business, honey, or pollination doesn't their farm insurance cover theft?"
It may cover theft. My coverage does cover theft, but it doesn't cover the loss of the bees, lost production (honey, nucs, queens), loss of breeding stock, cost of dealing with unhappy customers, cost of taking other hives our of production to make up splits to cover the loss, etc. That would easily exceed the cost of the equipment.
