These days, it is very difficult to remain unbiased. Everyone is expected to stand on this or that side of every issue. Either you are for us or against us. And, if you stand in the middle or outside the ring, you are a spineless moderate with nothing you would take a black eye for. The simplest explanation or the most consistent position may be the one that ignores the most facts
