Joe and others have been discussing Treatment free.

Comment: It seems to me most of the discussion is based on use of
alternative methods other than using Apistan, Checkmite, or Apivar (i.e.
synthetic miticides (?)) as a treatment free. The alternative methods
that have been discussed in some of the e-mails include genetics, small
cells, organic acids, screen bottom board, thymol, etc.
I believe if we are talking about no treatment, a bee colony should be
left alone without any interference except managing bee colonies.

I have some new beekeepers who are following the discussion in Bee-L.
They are confused by the concept of no treatment. For the sake of making
sure beekeepers know exactly what it means "No treatment", we might
consider having a definition of what we are talking about.
   I would like to read a definition for  No treatment, Treatment,
alternative treatments, etc.
