ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************

An upcoming issue of Dimensions (ASTC's magazine for the science center and museum field) will focus on some of the deep issues behind exhibition philosophy and practice. Some questions that may be explored in this issue include: What are the exhibition development philosophies of different institutions? Are visitors really learning from exhibitions? What are our goals in exhibition development-education, increased visitor numbers, or "the wow factor"? Should exhibitions should be the central focus of what science centers do? How should science centers and museums integrate evaluation into exhibition development? What are the most effective ways to manage exhibition projects?

If you may be interested in contributing to this issue, please contact me at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.

Thanks,
Emily
