Joan,
We found hula hoop bubbles work great from a small baby pool with a milk crate for the child to stand on. It is easy to bring the bubble up around the child.
For big bubbles one of our teachers just used
1/4 inch dowels with one end of string tied to the tip. The other end of the sting is secured to a 3inch piece of drinking straw that slides easily up and down the dowel .
Anything with holes will make a a god bubble wand.
Have a bubblicious time.

Good afternoon,
We have an outdoor event coming up at an amusement park and plan to do family friendly, "science of bubbles" activities. Does anyone have tips for making really large bubbles, say with hula hoops?
Thanks!
Joan
