How about a sensory garden/exhibit of medicinal plants, with plaques
about their historical and modern uses?  You could engage people with
interesting textures and fragrances.

I would want to see intriguing equipment--ancient vessels, Medieval
glassware, compounding stuff.  Preferably in an exhibit that shows the
settings, to contrast with modern labs/pharmacies.
