No, but we had a sign that warned that "The museum can not be 100% certain that someone eating peanuts with their bare hands did not touch the corner of that exhibit that your three year old is now chewing on."

Actually I HAVE seen warning signs when extra strength magnets were in use. But not the typical magnet on a stick.  

You could get pretty crazy placing warnings and listing every "potential" hazard in a museum. A typical door frame in a standing wall can be a "potential" hazard if you don't watch where you are walking (or running). Don't laugh that is based on an actual case!

The best part was that the parent had been proactive and actually asked the staff, showing some sense of responsibility.
