The first thing a queen does is go to a cell of honey and eat so it does
not mater if in an incubator or in a bank she does not have access to
food and the bees do not feed her at that time. They can be kept up to a
week, five days or less is better. I have also shipped virgin queens in
the mail and get 50% to 70% laying queens (cage introduction).
Also ship them with attendants in the cage.
