"swarms = free bees."
Increasing with swarms may be the right thing for you to do, all things
considered, but keep in mind that a swarm may not be quality bees and queen.
The queen will be the older queen, the bees may have mites, AFB, etc. And
depending on why they swarmed, they may be genetically more inclined to
swarm again. Perhaps an inexpensive queen cell and a few frames of brood
would be a suitable compromise. Bet its less than the gas and time to
collect a swarm.
