Hey Bee-L ers..
there is a thread going on at this time in reference to hive tools and i
have often wondered what and how and when do other beekeepers (particularly
the commercial guys) clean their hive-tools.
I remember very well the first time i was in a yard with a state inspector
and he cleaned his hive tool for a good 2-3 minutes prior to opening the
first hive with what i think was alcohol. I do not remember him cleaning
the tool between the hives.
I actually only clean my tools on an irregular basis...
any thoughts on the above..
thanks to all the posters..
