ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

I'm about to sponsor a five Wednesday night, 7:30-9:30, showings of
science videos in July and August in the community room at our county
library. Two hours per night. The room capacity is about 150. I have no
idea how many will attend this free event, donations to defray room
costs accepted. We have 30 min to set up and tear down before and after
the affair. I'm thinking of allowing people to bring their own popcorn
and sodas. I'm slightly concerned that it might get out of hand,
although the behavior I've observed in the same room for clubs and other
public affairs has been quite good. Usually though, a club has cookies
or some other foods they've paid for as part of dues present at a break
or after the meeting. This event isn't quite that organized. It's a bit
more like going to the movies. The room does have a side "kitchen" and
waste baskets. Any thoughts on this?
