I have been hearing this statement on
allot lately.
Other than the abundantly helpful
'been discussed already',,,
'look in the archives' reply.
Would someone please be so kind to
provide information related to where
this belief originated?
Any scientific observations etc.
would be greatly appreciated.
Historically, defensiveness has been
considered an undesirable trait, whats
going on here?
My first thought, before looking into this much.
It could be simply a side effect that
hot hives are generally not tampered
with much, and tend to be well populated,
-both requisites for good productivity.
Then theres A. m. caucasica, I have once
kept, -perhaps the most gentle bee in
the world as well as being very productive.
Best Wishes,
Joe Waggle
