I am no way trying to start an argument about neonics, but I am truly curious about this.

For those proposing the withdrawal of the pesticide what do you want to replace it. I am an organic grower and do not even use "organic" labeled pesticides on my fruit and produce and have great concern for this "movement" to get neonics banned. Conventional growers will not (and to be honest cannot) simply stop spraying. SO, what are they going to spray with? In two weeks I will be attending my local Extension's "Fruit and Vegetable" course, where I go to find farmers that want to keep bees on their property. Its more of a certification class really for pesticides. You should see the list of things they stopped using when they went to neonics. The number of times they sprayed was incredible.

I am just curious if those wanting neonics pulled want to go back to the "good old days", especially when it comes to ground water contamination. That is what WILL happen if the EPA pulls the plug right now.
