Hi All

I don't know if anyone took the trouble to read the comments on the proposed Australian Bee Ban. I thought they were interesting, although the comments from Australia seemed the most well informed.

I am not sure that a ban on Australian bees is justified by the reasons given. Further, the press has picked it up and refers to Apis cerana as "a dangerous bee."

The effect of contact between A. mellifera and A. cerana has been seen for decades all over Asia, and most of the plausible scenarios have already been played out.
