ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************
We run 8/70 films as part of the schedule on our Planetarium dome. Like so
many of you, we want to schedule titles to maximize net dollars in the
coming 18-24 months.
Question 1: If you are an institutional giant-screen film theater
operator, which film titles have been your best in the last three years in
terms of profit, or attendance if that's roughly proportional?
Question 2: How do the following fit in your ranking, if you've shown them
since 2008?
- Mysteries of the Great Lakes (Science North)
- Dinosaurs Alive! (Giant Screen Films)
- The Living Sea (MacGillivray Freeman)
Question 3, optional: any other comments on your film programming?
*Please e-mail me off-list*; I'll be happy to share compiled results
off-list with participating theater-managing colleagues.
This is not a scientific survey, but it will be helpful. Many thanks and
best wishes,
Steve Fentress, Director
