Every year, usually on the Wednesday afternoon, at Gormanston (FIBKA's annual summer school about 30 miles north of Dublin) Micheal Mac Giolla Coda (previously Karl Showler did it) parades around the hurley pitches and golf course with a long fishing rod with a lure containing queen substance. Nearly every time there is a dancing of drones around the lure.
I don't know whether Micheal is using the same lure that Karl did, but that one came from Colin Butler, the man who 'invented' queen substance about half a century ago. It's very persistant.
This year's guest lecturer at Gormanston is Jennifer Berry.
