Jeff asked "Should I give up on Zareba and get a DC powered “fencer” by made
by somebody
else?"

I will be very interested in the views of others, but I was 'taught' that
the solar powered gizmos were only effective when used in connection with a
good marine battery. In other words, the solar power is used to maintain or
extend the life on the battery, not to provide enough juice for the shock.

Right or wrong?

Lloyd
