We usually dust a few times a year and BURN hives with AFB. We use both
tylan(AFB) and terra(EFB)
Easy and effective. Our incidence is much lower than 1% without constant patty
antibiotic exposure.

The AFB incidence is actually getting lower and lower.
I don't want my guys second guessing the degree of infection or running around
giving any hive special attention.

We have way too many hives to take risks and I like the "keep it simple stupid"
plan.

Just throw the hive on the truck bed and light up the burn barrel. Done.

Varroa control is the one to keep focused on. The rest is easy.
