There was an embedded link in the text. Perhaps it was stripped out by the listserve. The thing I found fascinating, is the reporting angle of the story. His stated level of education or lack there of, served as a point of focus at a atonal level. It's a complete red herring of an issue. We don't exactly educationally qualify people to be spies, or certified safe with classified materials, or certified wise and intelligent.
It's all "on the job training" as an assessment vehicle. Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, and other dropouts serve as examples with positive connotation, as does Salman Kahn, or Albert Einstein for that matter.
