Hi Everyone,
I wanted to share a new and, I think, awesome online resource with you all: http://www.creatingquality.org/. In 2007, community members in Dallas with the support of Dennie Palmer Wolf (http://www.wolfbrown.com/index.php?page=dennie-palmer-wolf) began to observe and document the quality of teaching and learning in our public and community classrooms. The folks who participated included cultural partners, teaching artists, classroom teachers, school administrators and researchers. In 2010, this arts education study expanded to include other core subjects (science, language arts, math and social studies...which is when I joined the table and got involved through summer Quality Panel).
When you have time, please check out the Creating Quality site and join the conversation! You also will find resources which may be helpful for you if you are looking at evaluating the quality of the programs that you offer at your institution.
