Two weeks after my friend installed a nice new owl box hoping for
owls, a swarm of bees moved in and took over the box.
I transfered the colony into a nuc box and relocated the bees to
another location.

To make way for some owlets being donated by a raptor group, I need
to remove any evidence of the wax so another swarm does not reinfest
the box.
Looking for some input on the best method to disguise the wax odor of
a former bee colony.
