Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Colleagues,
Not knowing anything about Maker Movement, would this be something that other institutions are doing besides museums? I am on the capital campaign committee of my local YWCA and one option may be an entirely new construction vs. rehabbing the exising one, that would be virtually a 'campus' that will also include the YMCA and an arm of the local university. If it turns out to be an entirely new building it may be interesting to explore a maker workshop space that the after school and ESL programs could access. Any examples out there that anyone knows of?
Thanks so much.
