Here is one of the most impressive things I have ever seen in a science/artist collaboration

Not sure it visited a science center museum though.
Best of luck with your project.

This fall, NYSCI will open ReGeneration, a major exhibition with 14 new commissioned works from artists ranging from Brooklyn to Taiwan. Its really big, it will be installed in our central pavilion at the heart of the museum, about 8k ft2. The theme of the exhibition is "community and sustainability." We will do a full-on catalog for the 3-month exhibition.
I am trying to think of any other art exhibition of this scale in a science museum, and I can't. The artists were selected by a jury, the work that we are commissioning is new, the them is intentionally broad. I know Science Gallery in Dublin has done a number of exhibitions like this, but I can't think of any science museum that has.
Does anyone here remember anything comparable?
Thanks in advance
Eric
