Anna- you can use interlocking rubber floor mats. They can be found at
restaurant supply. They allow the solution to drain through and can be
linked together to cover as big an area as you want.

For bubble wand materials (I assume it is the kids making the wands), pipe
cleaners are always an inexpensive and easy way to make different shapes.
Even using paper rolled into a cone can be used as a bubble blower. Also,
Knex work well to make cube or other shaped bubble contraptions.
