The Apis cerana in Vietnam is a different "strain" to the one we are
currently trying to get rid of. We have the Java genotype which does not
lend itself to being boxed, does not produce much honey and is known locally
as the "scourge of the orient". It does swarm frequently and will abscond
at the slightest disturbance. Stan is right in that we don't want it here.
