-----------------------------------
I use one numbering system that follows the queen. I do not mark the queen,
but the box she is in and she is marked with a colored dot so I can know if
a new queen takes her place by supercedure or swarming. I use Velcro to
attach numbers to the front of the hive and the numbered tag follows the
queen when she moves from nuc to hive.... I track her performance by the
number.
Avoid the complicated when the simple works.
