I'm not speaking of low levels for one season. Calif used to run about 6%
AFB across the board of all inspected colonies.
Used to require regular antibiotics to meet certification of less than 1% to
ship queens.
We simply don't see it at these levels any more. I personally inspect every
brood frame of every hive each spring when I nuc up every hive.
I'm hearing the same from other long-time beekeepers.
