I gave advice over the phone yesterday to somebody with a bumble bee
nest in the way of building work. It was under the insulation in the
attic. I suggested very gently uncovering the nest and transferrinb it
to a vessel, which would be left open until nightfall to collect
foragers, then closed for transfer to a friend's garden a couple of
miles away. The caller rang back later to say that stage 1 had worked.
