Hi All.
Okay, now my head is absolutely spinning....literally and figuratively.

How much UNHEATED water should I dissolve 10 lbs of sugar in to make great
syrup in US measurements?
AND
Can that be doubled, tripled, etc, or, as in baking, does the recipe
actually have to be adjusted as it is increased.
