Hi All,
Following up on reports of excessive pollen hoarding in hives, I discussed
with some appropriate researchers at Apimondia.
No good answers, but they were curious as to whether there has been a shift
in queen source to Calif bees, which may inadvertently being bred for pollen
hoarding, since it is often so scarce here.
I myself am curious as to whether there is a correlation with N ceranae
infection.
I'd appreciate hearing from anyone seeing the problem to try to determine
the cause (on or off list).
