How fascinating!
Do you have any sense of genetic impact of these resistant bees, i.e. do
they pass on to next mating, are they more susceptible to other problems, is
the yield as high as non-resistant, etc. etc.
Are they resistant due to natural selection after exposure or is the
'resistance' artificially manipulated?
Also, do you have any concerns for negative consequences on the environment
at large, let alone unintended consequences on stocks and pollination
patterns moving forward?
